Detox: It's not what you might think

What do you think of when you hear the word “detox”? ⁠

If it doesn’t include scrumptious and nutritious foods, you probably haven’t tried the Food Foundation 28-Day Detox. 

My why

I originally designed this detox when I was trying to give up sugar and the many ailments I was suffering because of my addiction to it. I tried every detox on the market. What I found was–there was not a lot of support out there and doing a detox was hard.

I poured my heart into writing a program that I needed then. Every year since 2014 I’ve been teaching others how to detox safely and effectively based on scientific evidence. You deserve an expert on the other end who also understands what you’re going through. 

I participate in the detox right alongside you each of the 28 days. My ultimate goal is for you to fall in love with your body, your food, and your life!

What it is

The Food Foundation detox is a gentle program to support you in finding the proper foods that fuel and nourish your body while avoiding the foods that overwhelm the natural detoxification system in your body. 

We remove sugar, processed foods, refined vegetable oils, and GMO grains from your diet for 28 days. 

This is not your ordinary detox! It's a much more gentle way of living without toxic chemicals in your body and it can be done over and over until it becomes a lifestyle.

The 28-Day Detox includes: 

  • A free cookbook loaded full of healthy recipes the whole family will love
  • A 16 detox foods guide to learn which foods naturally detox the body 
  • A printable list of foods to eat that you can pick and choose from
  • An invitation to weekly group meetings  for community support
  • An opportunity to ask a holistic nutritionist your questions about health

The recipes have all been made in my kitchen and fed to my own children. They are set up more like templates so you can change out veggies or proteins you may or may not enjoy.

It’s a simple 28-day course on how to eat REAL food, how to cook a meal for your family so they don't even know you’re detoxing, and how to enjoy doing it!

This detox is for anyone who wants to sleep better, wake up with more energy, stop craving junk food, and enjoy the taste of delicious food. 

If you want to feel less bloated, less cranky, and less brain fog, it’s for you. If you want to  be amazed how your skin feels better, your hair feels thicker, your nails grow longer, and your long lost libido reappears, it’s for you too. 

My detox is not only for people who want to lose weight (though it’s very likely that may happen if it’s needed). It’s also for those that want to gain muscle, repair their immune system, or push their brains to work through long periods of time without ADD distractions.

Who it’s NOT for 

This is not a crazy cleanse where we have complicated recipes and have to eat rabbit food. Instead, it’s about eating what you already have and how to have healthy options on hand at all times.

The Food Foundation 28-Day Detox is not for someone who wants to lose a bunch of weight all at once, only to later find it comes creeping back. 

I’m not trying to create another diet dogma. Instead I’m trying to help convert people from sugar burners (eating carbs all day) to fat burners, which is how the body was physiologically designed to perform. 

The biggest difference in my detox is that you will eat MORE fat, MORE protein, MORE veggies, be MORE satiated, and feel MORE better!

If you're looking for a starvation technique that abuses your body by depriving it from nutritious food, then the Food Foundation 28-Day Detox is not for you. 

What’s new

This year I’ll be meeting virtually with participants every Friday in the month of January. I will deep dive into health topics each week and give you a chance to ask your questions. I want you to be supported by a holistic nutritionist and your peers in the community. 

I’m giving you the space to ask questions because I love to talk about detoxification, the liver, and all things comfort food. I know there’s a lot of confusion on the web and I hope to clear things up for you and empower you to eat the best diet for your body.

I’ll also be showing up on social media and sharing my secrets on how to succeed. 

We have a brand-new platform for the course and we are so excited to get started. 

We will begin on the first weekend of January so you have time to recover from the holidays and get prepared for the week ahead. 

I love any chance you can cook once and eat twice, so we will think about how to batch cook and make being healthier a little easier. ‍
